Who we are ...Eclipse Software is a privately funded consulting and technical software development firm that emphasizes the application of modern methods of analysis to diversified problems in science and engineering. The company mission is to advance the state of the art of modeling and simulation technology and to help utilize these methods in practical applications via an affordable general purpose problem solving software environment. Since the company's founding in 1985 we have developed several mainframe packages for real time modeling and simulation of complex dynamic systems. The shrinking of the aerospace and defense markets caused our focus to shift to the PC platform. Capitalizing on our proprietary technologies and extensive experience in the field enabled us to harness aerospace-type mainframe simulation power for a compact standard setting package. SDX, introduced in 1987, has been universally praised for its uniquely powerful problem solving environment. Since then it has matured to a complete simulation based design and experimental system providing answers to simple academic exercises as well as solving complex problems at the frontiers of science and engineering. |
